Relief Educational Navigator – After-School Programs

Atlas Care is seeking flexible, dependable Relief Educational Navigators to provide individualized support when a regularly assigned Navigator is unavailable, a family needs short-term assistance, or a new family is waiting to be matched. Relief Navigators maintain consistency while supporting executive functioning, emotional regulation, communication, positive behavior, safety, social skills, daily living skills, and greater independence.
What You’ll Do
- Follow each learner’s individualized goals, routines, safety supports, and approved service plan
- Provide engaging, relationship-based educational support during temporary assignments
- Assist with transitions, task initiation, communication, regulation, and independence
- Maintain professional communication with families and the Atlas Care team
- Complete accurate session documentation and provide dependable coverage
Who We’re Looking For
Ideal applicants are patient, flexible, calm, reliable, and comfortable adapting to different learners, families, and environments. Relevant experience may include ESE paraprofessional, instructional assistant, exceptional student education assistant, substitute teacher, teacher assistant, behavioral classroom assistant, one-to-one paraprofessional, RBT, Early Steps provider, or another special-needs support role.
Position Details
This is a part-time W-2 position paying $23–$30 per hour based on qualifications and experience. Services are primarily provided in family homes and community settings throughout Lake County, Florida. Opportunities may include daytime homeschool support, traditional after-school hours, evenings, weekends, school breaks, and short-term coverage. Applicants may provide their availability; specific assignments and hours are not guaranteed.
